I wish they opted to paint the balcony ceilings black. It would better accentuate the red curve. This way accentuates the boxyness of the building. I guess it’s a design choice, but not the one I would have made.

Yes good point. Since I will only ever see it from the street, I’m speaking selfishly from an aesthetic perspective. I can think of one that has red coloured balcony ceilings at Dundas and Jarvis, but not any painted black off the top of my head.

At least they’re painting it. Some developers don’t even bother and will probably market the project as ‘industrial chic’.

At 40 stories, it’s 10+ more than anything close to it. It will stand out.

Yes, I know it has a ways to go and realize it will stand out as designed, just wish it would stand out even more
