No machinery, but there's a bunch of people on site today tearing stuff apart.

I didn't take pictures because there were quite a few workers there and I don't like to take photos of individuals too close, but they are putting up concrete preservation bunkers around the heritage Tim Hortons.

I'm not sure exactly what is going on, but there is a crane attached to parts of the Heritage Tim Horton's.

Will it provide low cost rehearsal space for musicians? No.

They are taking down the Heritage Tim Horton's piece by piece and loading it onto a truck.

Taking away the Heritage Tim Hortons.

A claw-cavator (not my word) came in today, and the Heritage Tim Hortons is almost entirely down.

Parts of it, of course, are being lovingly stored in some warehouse somewhere.

The eastern parts of the "Tim Hortons" are being demolished. Interestingly (?), it appears it was actually two buildings at one time. The front wall is being preserved, but I think it is being moved back a few feet to widen the sidewalk. The same thing is happening with the former Music Rehearsal Building

They actually cut the north wall into pieces and shipped that away, so I assume it's being reinstalled at some point as well.

They dug up a couple of immense columns today. Hopefully they find a rusty old drain down there too.
