the more i see of the office tower, the more it feels watered down. Hopefully the cross-bracing keeps it interesting as well as the brick and stonework closer to the ground level.

I don't see it being watered down, I feel all the details are the same as the design.
The only thing I was surprised is the aqua green colour, it does not look like the grey/silver cladding as shown in the rendering

Does anyone think that the tower part of this office building's green glass facade looks a little darker than the Podium glass? If so that the building is going to look solid and richer from a distance in my opinion ! Just like the CIBC and LCBO buildings now going up !

Yes it is different than the podium. I personally think that the glass they are using on CIBC square and the one on the well tower look very similar on sunny days. LCBO glass is a whole different breed(excellent glass). That green glass is decent, would have been great if they had used the LCBO glass.

Nice to see them using a common or American stack bond pattern for the bricks! It's on literally every old Toronto building so that's a fun little detail.

I’m holding my breath for the glass above the third floor on the tower.
It will be the exact same...

Well... it's definitely not the exact same but not sure it was worth holding my breath for! Regardless I'm done lamenting over the glazing, excited to see how the rest of this development turns out!
