I gather these are water main-related preparatory works related to the reconstruction of Wellington.

First time walking around here in a while; the scale of the ground floor height is rather impressive; I think we’ll very much appreciate how this building opens up at the gateway corner.

I believe one can see the beginnings of the south stairs down to the retail promenade by the three right-most columns.

Lots of watermain work underway in the city in general right now. Richmond is a giant mess from its watermain replacement, as is Jarvis, with a bunch more work scheduled to start this summer from my understanding like Bloor between Spadina and Avenue.

You can see all the water projects on TOInView at https://map.toronto.ca/toinview/ As there are still 2019 projects happening you should select All Years.
 
Think the Well build deserves its own doc (maybe someone is doing that)... but I still feel like a back seat of the car whiny kid "are we there yet?". Have never wanted to see a completion as much as this one. Age thing, checks pulse ... doc says if I calm down I might see the result. Great pics everyone.
 
Very green compared to rendering. White mullion/dark grey glass would have complemented the red metal bars better than this green shade...
Oh well, still good and has heritage components reflecting the neighbourhood
