More builds like this would be great for refreshing the many older and forlorn areas in the burbs.

Overall, I quite like it, for what it is................

That said, as ever, I'm disappointed by the transition from the retail level to the 2nd floor.

Insufficient room for signage of quality,,, needs a bit more demarcation between those levels as well.

Otherwise, solid effort.

The brick could have been brighter, but it looks great overall. Also a lot of noise from traffic on Kingston here--the road should really be narrowed to two lanes; street parking should be eliminated in favour of the bus lane.

The materials really make this one pop. This easily couldve turned out to be a disaster, but Skale chose some quality pieces here.

Good on them.

Anyone know why so many units in this condo are constantly for sale? I swear, I haven't seen any less than 5 on the market since it opened, so I suspect the quality isn't so great. That or there's some good 'ol fashioned money laundering afoot.

I was the relief Condominium Manager back there in June 2022. It is a well built building however the amenities that are there are quite small. The Gym, the party room are not large by any means. The 5th floor where they shoehorned everything is focuses mostly on the units than the amenities.

The building is designed for living, not entertaining. In my honest opinion having worked at various Condominiums over the past 12 years, this building is lacking. It is somewhere you come home to and sleep, not somewhere you host Christmas Dinner.

Last month, there was a rental property on MLS for this building. It was a 2 bedroom listed for $2100 a month but was on MLS for over 40 days (and since taken down). I had a chat with a real estate agent friend about it and we both wondered what was wrong with the property for a 2 bedroom to go that cheaply.

Saw the building up close yesterday and was pleased by the project. Nice scale and good attention to detail.
