And then beyond the 2016-2017 timeframe we have the Cityplace Signature towers (most likely in the 700 to 850ft range) to look forward to, which will further enhance this stretch. That island view is only going to get more impressive.

I stated to say something, but just noticed in one of the photos that the base sitting on site is for the 3rd crane. By the looks there will be a 4th crane for this site.

It looked like it was going to be a luffing crane early on, but now it's all assembled it's actually another regular tower crane. It's going to be interesting to watch this site when we get a third and fourth as drum mentioned above. Who doesn't love a good crane!

I see that now to. While being assembled it looked like a luffing crane but as you said, I see now it is just a "regular" crane.

Which parts of the development are those cranes designed to serve? If I understand the renders correctly, the office structure is to rise at the west end of the parcel. The first crane to be erected appears to be located at the west end of the excavation and presumably will serve the construction of that building. With telephoto shots, it is hard to get a sense of the location in the excavation of the second, taller, crane. It looks as if it might be intended to serve the middle structure which appears to be the shorter of the two condo towers. Is that correct or is the second crane so far west that it will also be dedicated to the office building? A further question to anyone who knows: are they planning to build the two condos more or less simultaneously, as with Ice, or will the be constructed in two phases? Thanks in advance.

Once excavation of the east side is near completion, I believe we'll see a third and possibly a fourth crane on site. It should be clearer then how the cranes relate to each particular portion of the development. Next crane should be coming soon.
