Toronto Street Widths

I know you don't like it, and I'm not a professional, just a guy with a kid, but Front St east of Cherry does work for us. It's not extremely lively, but with the splash pad, patios, etc. we spend a lot of time there and like it a lot.
Another guy with a kid here, and I echo Evans comments. We live in the canary district, and it gets more lively as the weather improves.

Alex you need to spend a spring / summer evening here. Front Street between Cooperage and Rolling Mills is full of kids playing, unsupervised, unstructured, and in groups. The type of play we know leads to positive development and creativity. To me this is success, these are kids (like mine) who don't have backyards. The street is there backyard, and the neighbourhood kids make full use of this amenity.
