Don't know if there are any golfers (a nice walk... spoiled) on this board, but those green roofs are pretty much what the greens at Pinehurst looked/played like in last weekend's U.S. Open (commentator described the greens as "upside down salad bowls" ;-).

Maybe a fundraiser for the nabe could be a closest to the pin chipping challenge to the SLM North roof (Rory won't come though). 🏌️‍♂️⛳🫣

As we have all watched this project crawl ever so slowly towards completion...........

Apparently the City has been 'emergency expediting' the work here......... LOL Seriously.

A non-competitive contract was let for more than 9M in work to rush this towards the finish line.

We know this from a report to next week's General Government Ctte:

Forgetting the usual stuff about unforeseen site conditions, and Covid...........

Did you know this site was delayed because someone decided they needed to redesign the office layout for hybrid work?

Just wait til they find out the City is ending hybrid work entirely for this business unit........right about the time they finish. (no that's not decided, LOL, but it is the direction they're heading)

Supposedly they are targeting Sept '24 for fit-up.

Their hard date for full-readiness/move-in is December, in light of the following:

Thanks! So does the delay in one part of the building delay opening the market, for example?
Based on the poor project management in this project to date, any excuse will doubtless be siezed upon! The MARKET should be totally independent of the Courts (though MIGHT require garage on market days) but .....

It's never a good thing for government when all the cliches of ineptness and incompetence about them is fully on display here... /sigh
