Any forumers with money to burn, buy the best opaque and translucent glass on the market. This is our chance. Half of UT forumers and many volunteers = reclad in the dead of night
You don't even need that, just get them to recoat the existing slats with a better colour, and maybe something that isn't that matte.

Seriously, I’d love to have a white translucent ROM crystal, making it look like an iceberg in the day, with coloured LEDs below to light it up at night. ❤

What about a platinum black crystal? that would be much more of a welcomed shock and awe. Maybe with a silver finish around the windows and entryways.

Wonder what polished obsidian costs (checks VISA balance)... might be dark enough to protect light-sensitive collection pieces and yet has that mysterious hint of translucence (wait someone is playing Supertramp's "Dreamer" in the next room).

Saw Silva cells being placed in the music patio thing next to Philosopher’s walk.
I’m so glad that the city has adopted widespread use of Silva Cells. It finally gives trees a fighting chance of survival in Toronto. As more and more of the city gets these installed, we’ll eventually have an underground root network that’ll enable our grey public realm to evolve into one of mature tree canopies.
