Someone (or some organization) could purchase the sign if the city can't keep it.
So the sign might not survive the budget shortfall?

Which one? Gardiner East insanity? Scarborough subway madness? It's Toronto - you have to specify which specific ill-conceived scheme you mean or people will get confused.In the meantime, the administration have no issue with dropping a neat 1B plus change on an ill-conceived scheme.

Just forget about the prospect of a mobile sign; that isn't necessary. All focus should be put towards having a permanent, higher quality sign at NPS.

That the item be referred to the General Manager, Economic Development and Culture with the request that he report further on October 24, 2016 and that he not consider in the requested report "the creation, ongoing operation and maintenance of a mobile Toronto sign and seasonal touring program".
