Its nice to finally see some buildings break the plateau effect that the waterfront condos had going on

These buildings actually don't look too bad up close.

Procrastinated yet again with posting. At least there isn’t any snow on the ground in these…

Up close to One Sherway both Etobicoke and Mississauga are older industrial. What'cha gonna do? Those close up views just aren't going to look great. The good views from One Sherway are those to the south, over tree-covered neighbourhoods to the lake.

automatically reminds you of a landfill.

nice views from Sherway ... certainly don't get that perspective normally =D

Sermon on the mound?

The beginning of the 427 north at Evans Avenue.
Brown's line North becomes 427 at Evans Ave, entering the underpass (Evans Ave,) you can go north (427) or East Gardiner Toronto or cut back to Evans Avenue for an east or west choice.

That switchback encircles the mound and looks tall because of the angle, but brings traffic from a level below.

I hope that made sense.

I think the mound *may* be sodded-over interchange-construction (or reconstruction) debris...

the arrangement on Quinn's site plan is pretty much the same as One Sherway now with four towers surrounding a central parkette ... in terms of the building design I can't say the old one shown above is better than what's built ... I sorta like the curved faces on the west side of Towers 1+2
