The 53rd level is done, now they should be moving the forms up in place for the 54th level. This has usually been done on Fridays, but with the recent long weekend I'm not sure it is happening today or not.

Hope you are right!
Hope it's not a case of us fans being more emotionally invested in the finished product than the developer.
then again, the developer may have aimed higher but settled for offers on the table.
Fingers crossed we see something unique and popular!

^^ I think she's dreaming. I'm sure One Bloor's aiming higher than The Shoe Company. No offence.

From this afternoon.

From more than just a few blocks distance it's looking just like any other Toronto condo built in the past 10 years. Hope it gets better.

The Shoe Company is owned by Town Shoes, which was recently acquired by DSW. The plan might be to convert Shoe Company locations to DSW, and DSW would arguably be a more attractive tenant or 1BE. However, IIRC, the DSW locations in Canada announced to date (on Retail Insider) were all suburban locations.

Still seems unlikely.
