Actually the pool is somewhat a disappointment. most of what we see isn't the pool.
Most of the 7th floor terrace goes to planter box areas.
Wished the pool occupied a larger portion of the terrace.
Had it been larger, it could have been like those resort/theme park pool that draw users in with very gradual increase in depth.
Something like the following would have been nice.

Actually I'm quite hopeful that with that many planter boxes vs. pool, that the outdoor space on the podium will be wonderful to look at. Given Toronto's weather in the winter, having trees more than pool will make it more interesting to look at.
…plus the pools in those images appear to be larger than the 1 Bloor whole site. Want to be gradually be drawn into a pool? You'd better have the room to do it in. Those expectations given the space available and our weather were just not realistic.

I'm glad there is more space for people than the pool. I have a feeling it will be more about standing and posing in a fabulous bathing suit than actually swimming.
