Does anyone know what is planned for the property immediately south of this project? looks to be about two acres and is siting bare and fenced.

That is a very good question. On the Mississauga Development applications map, it shows that there is a building planned with a floor count of 33s containing 509 units, with a 6s podium that contains commercial/retail. Upon first glance, it just looks like it's for Mississauga Square since they have the same amount of floors, but the number of units is different and the podium design does not line up at all with what is being built so I'm pretty sure it's something else.

In the images below, the Appendix 1-7a image shows an old rendering for Summitview Condos, a 3-tower development (this can also be found at the beginning of this very thread). Mississauga Square is the "future development" to the left of the towers, so I'm guessing that the application is for one of these towers. My guess is that these are being redesigned and won't come up until Mississauga Square is closer to being complete.
