I don't understand why the design language is so different on the north side.

Same. I know they weren't able to have balconies because of flight paths but they still could've made it look similar to the other sides, even without balconies.

I always thought the north side was black so the building fades into the background when looking at Massey Hall from across Shuter street.

This room is part of the condominium lobby.

Still awaiting glazing on the ground floor podium, but at least the interior was cleared of most excess material when I passed by today. So perhaps soon?

The tower looks to be in good shape..... Looks like the contractor waited a little to long to get the lower building envelope started (curtain wall).
