The spit would be a bad place for a beach anyways, plus it is ecologically sensitive. Focusing on Cherry would make far more sense.

Also, off-topic, but interesting (or something) that they've posted the agenda for the next WT DRP meeting before posting the minutes from the last, Waterfront Uninnovation Centre WT DRP meeting.
To be fair, the minutes were never consistently posted before the agenda of the following DRP. There were times when they were posted months after the DRP is completed.
