Toronto London On The Esplanade Condos | 102.1m | 33s | Cityzen | Burka

Sure. Lotsa young male Euro-travellers in the 70s and 80s were smitten by sweet young university students who were nonchalant about their legs and underarms (and, presumably, sexuality as well). A relief from those plastic all-American blonde cheerleader types.

OT, of course. Move on...

Enough about body hair.
How about a real turn on...bricks!

Though to be honest, there is a corollary between Clewes-loving brickophobes (you know, too much of that depressingly socialistic 70s St. Lawrence Neighbourhood aesthetic) and slick young jerks who hate, er, 70s bush...

That brick podium (Granny's third pic) is a touch of class. A great example of respecting an old establishing while avoiding faux kitschiness.

Too bad it's so rare that it's actually remarkable when a developer uses it.

The increased density makes the loss of the view worth it. And the brick at street level provides a continuous streetwall. All that strip needs is more terraces on the other side of the street where that parking lot is and we could have a little Montreal-style patio district. And do those blue recycling bins really have to be there?

Beautiful photo, Red!
Summer evenings on the Esplanade. Love it!
The loss of view? You just have to know which unit to buy.;)

looks like TD got an antenna installed overnight.

great shot, thx.

Don't worry, if you really wanna see Chicago, they'll probably be coming back to Casino Rama before long
