I highly recommend to view the panorama in fullscreen mode and with hidden controls. You can then still drag and zoom the viewpoint in all directions and when right-clicking you can pick different viewing options from a menu. You might want to explore 360cities.net to find other panoramas showing the L Tower from all 4 different corners.
 
the entire building definitely looks better from the east than from the west imo. considering L tower has a slightly more slender profile from the east, it adds for an even more dramatic effect. :D

Jasonzed--those shots are amazing. Thanks for those. Totally new perspective. Love the shot looking West down King, too...I've always liked that stretch of King east of Parliament. Nice and quiet, but very much in the city. In a few years it'll be much busier, though.

I love that stretch of King as well but disagree about the quietness aspect ... namely how it will be come less quiet ... I think it'll remain rather tranquil ... Most of King is fully built out (including the streets just to the north and south, until you get closer to the distillery district, now a lot of land exists there that will get redeveloped over the years.

I think its quiet, at least during the weekend, as its dominated by "home / design" stores ... mind you during week its busier then you might think as there are quiet a few offices along King East.

Nonetheless its feels like the most built out / cohesive / complete part of the city ! Most of the condos that have went in on King and Richmond / Adelaide East over the last 15/20 years really fit in the area well, they don't stand out but blend in.

Yeah, I hear ya, but I'm not sure if you're referring more to King b/t, say, Jarvis and Parliament as much as between Parliament and River. Those are two very different stretches, I think. I agree with you that King b/t Jarvis and Parliament is one of the most cohesive and attractive areas of Toronto, and also that in the day it's nice and lively. I'd kill to live there. But east of Parliament King is a bit less developed, a touch scuzzy in parts, and still has some more clean up to do. It still has this great quality, though. Quiet but very urban. Busier in the day, yeah, but not as traveled.
