Walk by this building twice almost every day. It is turning out very well (especially for a rental building). I can't wait for the glass to go in for the units and the hoarding to come down. This site has been blocked the entire time I've lived in Parkdale, which is six years now. What a change it'll be.
Hoarding now displays Longos, Canadian Tire, and Kids & Company (a daycare provider) are the first retailers. I'm sure the daycare will make this rental very appealing.
Agreed. The cladding and interior programming should be chosen with a view to maintain as much transparency as possible. Otherwise, a strong point of the design will be lost.
