Both 662 King West and 668 King West are "Listed Properties" under Toronto Heritage Properties Inventory, it would be interested to see how Allied's plan in developing this corner.
It's common nowadays to keep the heritage and build over top ..i could see some future office space coming to that cornerBoth 662 King West and 668 King West are "Listed Properties" under Toronto Heritage Properties Inventory, it would be interested to see how Allied's plan in developing this corner.
Sounds like the rumours are true. Planning recommends that Council send staff to support a settlement at the LPAT - 17 storeys, 58 m (even though the elevations show 62.5 m): https://www.toronto.ca/legdocs/mmis/2019/te/bgrd/backgroundfile-122984.pdfRumour of a settlement on this one with the City but do not have the details. Anyone know more?
Typically it's the main roof hight quoted for Council purposes, which may be 58 metres, the mechanical box (which we count in total height) popping out above that.Sounds like the rumours are true. Yeah, what happened to the previous plan? That architecture is some uninspired dreck for such a prominent corner. Yuck.
