Demolition dates back to at least October of last year, and there's still a large chunk of structure left, 8 months on.

It's definitely up there for the longest the city has seen, if not the longest?? The large warehouse building at Riverside Square put up a fight to demolish all that they wanted to demolish of it. Though, Club 300 Bowl at 125 Old Kennedy Road, a quite massive two floor complex in Markham is still being demolished since September, and there is still around 20% of the structure left, so compared to that, this is not bad.

A look at the photos would show it is far too close to other buildings and it was also clearly built like a bunker so it would have taken a VERY large explosion to demolish it.
