I apologize, I know it has been asked before, but do we have a date for the bridge installation? The forms over the LSW line look pretty much ready, and I'd assume that they just need a large enough break (night?) in train traffic to install.

This on UPX site:

July 24, 2018 - 11:18 am
GO buses will replace some UP Express trains on the weekend of July 28-29 as a portion of the rail corridor will be closed. The tracks will be shut down on Saturday, July 28 from 12:00 am to 8:00 am and Sunday, July 29 from 2:00 am to 8:00 am. During these hours, GO buses will be operating every 20 minutes between Union Station and Toronto Pearson and every 30 minutes between Weston Station and Toronto Pearson. If you’re starting from Union Station or Toronto Pearson go to the UP departure area as usual to buy your ticket or tap your PRESTO card. From there a Guest Services Representative will guide you to the bus. At Weston Station the shuttle bus will use the north parking lot. GO Transit staff still be on site to help guide you to your bus. There will be no UP Express service at Bloor Station during those times. To plan your route to or from Toronto Pearson Airport, visit triplinx.ca.

And from Layton’s Twitter:

Very early Saturday morning the first 52 metre stainless steel span of the Garrison Crossing bridge will be hoisted into place. This is going to look VERY cool - if you can stay up late to watch garrisoncrossingbridge.ca/wp-content/upl…

So correct me if I am wrong, but according to this schedule, the lift will actually occur/start "Friday night" (Saturday, July 28 from 12:00 am to 8:00 am), and then concrete will be poured on the decking (I assume, and according to what I can see in renderings) "Saturday night" (Sunday, July 29 from 2:00 am to 8:00 am)?

Just a note for anyone who planned on staying up all night to watch the bridge hoist:

Unfortunately, we've been informed that on-site viewing won’t be permitted during the overnight work. Those with windows and balconies overlooking the site should still have a great view!
