+1 in the sigh department. I dont have any problem with using flowery language but what that language is so often attributed to just doesnt add up. It's the incongruance of it all that gets me. And yes, the Toronto-centric narcissism too.

Count me in w/the few who feel that Four Seasons actually looks awkward as a project under construction--not as a finished product; merely as an under-construction product...

he's gonna be a basketball player when he grows up! no doubt this one is eye catching, I got loads of different angles yesterday...

amazing and comprehensive update Redroom!
those 1st and 2nd pics showcase the beastness of this tower. (the 2nd one i believe is from mt. pleasant and four seasons really really dominates from there).
and in that first pic, you can tell that four seasons really did break the 150m bubble that is the yonge/bloor district.
proportion wise, from that first pic, four seasons doesn't exactly fit in. but we all know that things will even out in the near future.

great work Redroom!!!

Construction worker on site yesterday said they were on floor 50 with 5 more to go. Can he be right. Thought it was changed to 52 stories, but he was absolutely certain they were on 50 and there were 5 more to go. Was a foreman type with clipboard not actually hammering away.

Thanks for spurring us on Register: we asked for an got an update from Lifetime Developments. The towers will now be 55 and 26 storeys.

So what does this mean for the total height? It had been listed as 204m for 52 storeys, and if the three additional storeys were simply added to the existing 52-storey design, then I would expect 10m-11m of extra height as well, and even more height if the additional stories are inserted within the penthouse levels rather than within the mid-range floor plates (possibly for a total of 12m-13m), for a new total height of 214m-217m

I hope that the extra height doesn't come at the expense of the rooftop element. The fins are really going to make this tower.

Still waiting for the answer regarding the height.

This effect is commonly used in clothing with vertical stripes: those fins on the north and south sides are going to make this building feel both taller and slimmer than it actually is.

We can really start to see that effect now that more glass is being put up. I like it.

When they say 55 floors do they mean 55 actual floors or do they mean 52 actual floors with 13, 14, etc. removed? Perhaps the building is the same actual height but 55 floors.
