407 and DP will make Bessarion and Ellesmere look busy. 407 station has no reason to exist. Even with a future 407 Transitway, it could have easily connected to Pioneer Village as it’s easy to exit 407 and go to PV station and then back onto 407 via a dedicated ROW. DP was built in the wrong location. It should have been built actually closer to the park, where all the indoor facilities are. Right now the only thing it’s close to is the Saturday farmers market.

Yes that is true. There is a wall panel that can be opened up to connect FWLRT to the subway station.

It's only a wall panel though - there isn't a full platform or anything. Just a "hole in the wall".

It's pretty great to see a subway station opened less than two years ago getting expanded for a new rapid transit line

I hope that entrance has been engineered w/something being built over-top of it in mind. That seems like quite the waste of space on a potentially prime corner.
