Toronto Emerald Park Condos | 128.92m | 40s | Bazis | Rosario Varacalli

Podium looks great ^,

On-the-go shot from today:
These things are absolute beasts in person. Yonge/Sheppard has become almost like a York/Bremner and will transform even further with whatever goes up on the south-west corner.
Emerald in particular has that "ice condo" effect already.

Is that the start of the curve we're seeing on the left there?

Edit: Given the renders maybe my eyes are just deceiving me!

I was there today and the curve is still yet to appear. What you are seeing is likely camera distortion.

Edit: While it may seem like camera distortion, the west tower curve has actually begun, and photos to show it in detail are on the way!

Hardly a beast. More than a sad Egg McMuffin that's been sitting under the heat lamp for 3 hrs.

Honestly, how can anyone believe this is a quality project? The hedious green windows, tacky glass at street level with poor articulation along Beacroft and the Legoland architecture wreaks of suburban sprawl at its worst. Is this Scarborough Town Centre or prime North York?

In contrast just gaze across Yonge Street for a glimpse at proper mixed use development. Minto and Tridel clearly know what they're doing as does Menkes.

This is a Plazis travesty like we've come to expect from this group.

The curve will look nothing nothing the render I'm certain.

I believe the east tower is around the 32nd floor currently, the first stepped out slab is at the 35th floor and steps out exponentally from 35th-roof (42nd)

For the west tower they look to be around the 29th floor currently, the first stepped out slab was at the 26th floor and steps out exponentally from 26th-roof (33rd)

the step outs from previous slabs starting with 26th West/35th East are approximately 9", 10", 13", 16", 19", 22", 27", 43"

So the difference in slab locations horizontally from the typical floor (25thW/34thE) to the roof slab is approximately 13'-3"

Weather or not this will look like much when it is 30-40 stories up will be another question.

Yes, west tower stepped out at 26

A quick way to determine floor is to use the square holes along the spine (stairway) visible on both towers and from both north and south,.... And are clearly visible in the recent photos. They start on floor 18 and are on every third floor going up,.... This they're visible markers for floor 18, 21, 24, 27, 30, etc,... That said, west tower now at 28 and east at 31
