I can easily walk it in 2. Obviously, not everyone can be held to the same standard, but 3 minutes seems like a bit much for a perpendicular transfer.Actually it is about 5 minutes via the Spadina tunnel.

And whenever there is a third intersecting transit line in the far future. Oh boy, London.All the new subways or underground lrt stations are going to be deep. People will have to get used to these long trips to their trains since this is the easiest way to make transit with the least amount of disruption to the surface level. Cars, home owners near stations and their frustration levels are the priority.
