What are the bunting flags for above? The Queen's death? An elevated used car dealership? I kid, sort of.
Those flags are the bump line

Warning line system —
Temporary demarcation erected to warn workers that they are approaching an unprotected edge
. This shall outline an area at least 2 metres from a fall hazard in which work may take place without the use of guardrail or safety net systems to protect workers in the area. (May also be referred to as a "bump line".)

Here is a video by Johnny Strides from January 2nd, 2023, where the beginning of the video shows the progress that's been made at the Line 5 Eglinton station:
Uhhh they are still nowhere close to completing this station. I’d say Q4 2023 opening if we are lucky.

I’m thinking either March or June 2023 the latest I’ll say is September
Didnt they only just cap off the structural concrete on concourse level? Backfill even started yet? Smh what a boondoggle. Who was the engineering firm who did Yonge—Eg? Cause tbh they kinda #**%@ it big time imo

Also, anybody got pics of platform level at Eg on Yonge line? Wasnt the whole platform supposed the shift northwards, hows that going?

It feels like they're building a 72 story subterranean residential the time they're taking on this...

They are still using Line 1's Eglinton Station. They were running light rail vehicles through the Line 5 tunnels since November of 2021. We could use Line 5's Eglinton Station platforms and access them from Line 1. Just because they haven't yet laid the grass, asphalt, and concrete near the surface, doesn't mean we can't use Line 5.
