Absolutely. There are ways to work through anything.

Unfortunately, that scheme is water under the 'bridge' (*wink*) now so the most we can hope is that it might be revived in some alternate form elsewhere...

Seems like the bridge could be adapted to fit quadrangle's design for the Marriott up the street, the towers have a similar vibe.

So, ProjectEnd, I understand that there are details that you cannot divulge. But can you give us a bit of a clarification regarding "drooling" height junkies? Are we talking something over the magic 300m? Inquiring minds need to know! :)

Sounds like the height hasn't been finalized so the last thing I'd want to see is a figure. Green Whine, grey whine have nothing on chop shop whine.

I do not know the height in meters but I do know the targeted floor count. It is significant.

Am I right to assume that the normal concerns with tall buildings might lower the proposal? What I mean is, should we be cautiously optimistic when we see the new plans?

All I can add is that the Planning Department does not spend a lot of time trying to figure out how to make exceptions for proposals, but focuses instead on making sure every rule is being complied with. So, temper your expectations accordingly.
