Wow, those pics show just how underdeveloped the east end is, in general. I'm glad to see that the development planned is high density. Toronto's most logical direction for growth is eastward. I just wish there were subway lines being planned too as part of the bigger picture.

Building a Downtown Relief Line (whenever that comes to pass) would help, and development down here might even push the final route of that line farther south.

I know we're not talking about Pure Spirit much since it's long been finished, but I was walking through the area today and noticed something strange up top...one of the glass balcony railings is gone and a piece of plywood (I think) is in its place. I hope those railings aren't already starting to loosen out.

I was down there last weekend and already the different angles of the building are starting to take shape. Looks interesting. So it won't be the typical box that we've been getting for some time.
 
Is that a sticker on the cladding? It has numbers written on the sliding door portion, which leads me to believe that is not the final product. If it is... then weeeeird!
