I still can't believe Phase II will fit in the space of the current GO Bus Terminal. It just seems so narrow of a space to have such a building in that spot.
Then again, I never thought the Backstage condos could fit in that space either.

I wish there would've been a phase 3 involving the Dominion building. I would have rather had Hines graced their presence on it, than Larco who will build some kind of trash on it.

Starting at the lobby, it's supporting that side for the entire height of the tower.

That pedestrian bridge between Union and Phase II is going to look quite sublime.

These renderings appear to be two different versions of the design. The cantilever supports are different from one rendering to the other. Both of these are facing north towards the Canada Revenue building.

I noticed the two different versions as well in those photos. Had me wondering which we'll see in the finished product.

The building "fits" because it's actually cantilevered over the rail corridor, and not by a small amount either.

We really missed an opportunity to mandate that any new building along the rail corridor deck over it with a park and in exchange be allowed air rights over the corridor like CIBC tower 2 is getting. Right now, Telus, PWC, Delta Hotel and The Well and much of City Place would've decked over most of the downtown portion of the rail corridor by now. The city would fill in the gaps.

There's still an opportunity for the Metro Convention Centre redevelopment and Union Centre.
