these towers would have stood out even if they were built at the height approved by the city. it's sad that they chopped down the height.

New panels facing what is the second level of the bus depot. The panels are extended away from the wall I assume to allow air circulation to enter this part of the depot where busses with diesel exhaust will be operating

More glass has been added along the south wall of level#4 which will be a food court in the future. Please compare to the first photo to see the extent of this glass wall and a good indication of the size of the food court

What was the height approved by the City? Curious that the developer wouldn't max these out given that they both were basically fully leased very quickly.
 
Just out of curiosity does anyone have a copy of the site plan or landscape plan for what the park will look like on the bridge over the tracks?

Agreed. If CIBC Square were double the height, it would still be shorter than the CN Tower, which would still allow visitors in the CN Tower mostly unobstructed views. CIBC Square could also have a small outdoor observation deck akin to 30 Rockefeller Center (Top of the Rock). If the diamonds glowed, then CIBC Square would no doubt be among Toronto's most iconic buildings.

Double the height is 500m, which would be disproportionate to the rest of the skyline and the CN tower in this area. 270m would be the sweet spot for this.
