Spot on AoD. I had a chance to have a brief chat with one of the workers this morning. It is the base of the elevator shaft. The rebars have been meticulously laid down as well. The worker indicated that the crane will be directly east of the elevator core but not sunk quite so deeply. As for the four mysterious green tubes at the southeast corner of the site each contain a sump pump.

The Pumpcrete vehicle was on site today laying down the base of the elevator core.

If you're quick about it, you might be able to slip down there unnoticed and write your name in the concrete before it sets!

Moving right along, it looks like the base of cranky the crane is being installed.

Well, I wasn't able to get down into the pit to write my name in the concrete, but I did snap these pics. It looks like the crane is going to be in the northeast corner (you can see it just below the workers in the first pic).
So, starting from this lowest level... there are only 50 more floors to go!
