It's not high praise, I know, but... they do have a lot worse in their multi-res portfolio, but as you said they have a lot better as well.
This strikes me as inoffensive at worst, at least if viewed from the clean, albeit boring, north, west, and east elevations. The south elevation is an awful mess.

there are so many good shrubs out there and developers / landscape architects keep throwing down rows of ugly yews that end up looking toasty and patchy because they get pruned to hell and back.
