After going through AND securing approvals for a 18 storey residential condo in 2007... I guess the builder came back with formal applications for a 41 storey tower now (as others noted) ... WOW thats more than double then the previous approval

Are you kidding me? Not everyone here is a harlot of the development industry. Toronto would be a better place without half the stuff that is going up these days.
You are going to hate the next 50 years, where more density and taller building over 100 storey get built.
We are only seeing the tip of the iceberg coming down the road. City today 2.5m, 50 years 10m+
