I wonder how deep the parking will be for this one? Considering it will contain the parking for the L tower as well..

Starting in mid-July and for about a month The Esplanade will be completely closed between Scott and Yonge so they can dig out the pedestrian tunnel between Backstage and L-Tower.

Finally seeing some sort of action on this pupster. Why's it been so slow? I'm assuming to coordinate with L, but I don't see why they couldn't both go u at the same time. Either way, this'll add some nice density there.

I still think it's insanely close proximity to 25 The Esplanade will ruin the flatiron effect.

From some angles, I think you're right. But I have such ambivalence towards 25 Esplanade that I'm largely unmoved.

I'm really looking forward to the extreme density of this spot, despite the eclipse of the flatiron appearance. It seems like this will be one of the densest clusters of tall buildings in the city. If the parking lot and giant parking garage to the east become good buildings eventually, this will be an amazing area.
