This is a stunning building. The mechanical level definitely could've been done better, but it's not the disaster I thought it was going to be. Shim-Sutcliffe should be proud of what they've accomplished here.

I absolutely love the curvilinear brick detailing with the varying widths, getting close to "Roman brick arch" vibes.

This thing has been under construction for five years now. Shoring started Nov. 2016. Seems excessive.

I won't go so far as to call this development a masterpiece. But I admire the ambition, and it's nice to see a new development that veers away from the Toronto blue glass vernacular.
