Appliances brand is sales agreement matters. This must be developer's decision. Architect as consultant has no control over selection of appliances. Ownership and its sales & marketing do.

Yes but in the standard features sheet, there is a clause that says "the builder may change to a product deemed equal or better and that the architects decision is final and binding".
