I'm amazed at how long they have had the Yonge street sidewalk closed. Pedestrians a distant thought in York Region?

Has anyone seen the site lately and any information on occupancy? Mine is mid July but I wonder if it’ll get pushed back because the site is still under active construction.

Yeah this "occupancy" seems very difficult to actually move in. Not sure why laws like this exist. It takes 1 hour to get an elevator in this building with 10+ contractors waiting for the same elevator. No drywalls in halls, nothing is finished. But yeah, we have great real estate laws in this country.

Anyway, can we form a group for all owners of this once-promised "LUXURY" building that seems like it was a false promise and the delivery is a subpar, crappy building.

If you have done your PDI, did you notice that your promised HIGH END EXPENSIVE TOP OF THE LINE MIELE APPLIANCES WITH A PANEL READY MIELE FRIDGE + DISHWASHER were replaced with the cheapest Whirlpool appliances? Did you notice that? Sure, there is a clause in the standard features list that says the builder can substitute but ONLY WITH AN EQUAL OR BETTER QUALITY PRODUCT where the decision is made by their architect. Either their architect failed math class, which would be concerning, or they just tried to pull off the biggest HEIST in a large scale "LUXURY" project I've ever seen...

Whirlpool is NOT EQUAL OR HIGHER QUALITY than Miele.

Whirlpool fridges start at $1500. Miele starts at $10,000.

Whirlpool electric cooktops start at $800. Miele starts at $2000.

Whirlpool is mass market. Miele is luxury (on par with Wolf/Subzero/Cove & Gaggenau).

Unbelievable.

@Edward Skira Would love your thoughts on this.

I’ve seen a Facebook group created if you search the address up.

Some folks have whirlpool and some have Miele… during the design appointment I confirmed I had Miele. Did they confirm you had Miele during the design appointment or were you surprised by Whirlpool during PDI?

I agree though… the buyers need to unite and hold the builder accountable. They also need to reimburse folks who were given Whirlpool.

That makes no sense! They can't just switch out Miele with whirlpool and expect you not to notice during the design appointment when you weren't even choosing appliance upgrades... besides, any changes to the APS requires an amendment. The design form is not binding as the APS is. Also, no one even mentioned it to us, "hey, we're changing your Miele for whirlpool because we found out buying Miele for the whole building would be too expensive".

It's so sketchy... imagine what else they went cheap on without you knowing.

Owners definitely need to unite because for a "luxury" building, this is crap, lmfao.

I understand the majority owner of Constantine Enterprises is Edward Rogers. I believe this company has financed the project.
To all who purchased units in this building, do not settle for anything less. Unite and fight for the 'luxury' you paid for.
I am sure they can get more money to provide the MIELE appliances..

Is there anyone that wanted to buy a unit in this building before they increased prices late 2021? If so, let me know. I'll give you my unit for an unbeatable deal.

So many other condos for sale in the market right now at better prices and in nicer buildings.
True but keep in mind, when someone is selling an assignment at a loss, the buyer can easily "have" 20% equity without even paying 20% down. So it's great for first time buyers as you can snatch up a unit for only like $50-$60k down and to the banks eye, it's as if you paid $120k down.
