There is a case management conference on May 2nd, 2024, and then a merit hearing on October 21st, 2024 for this

Reading back in the files; this is a case where the applicant filed over the heritage designation; its clear there have been/were active settlement discussions with some hope this might have been resolved by the March '24 CMC date.

That date was adjourned to May suggesting a settlement was close at hand, elsewise they would just have gone to the merit hearing.

That said, this is not going to cycle in front of Council between now and the May date, so assuming there is a settlement offer, it likely have to be ratified at what is current the Merit Hearing date.

The settlement hearing was conducted, but no order/decision seems to have been made public on the OLT page (Clicking it returns nothing). Perhaps it will appear later link

Edit: The case coordinator is away until November 7th, so it might appear after that

How very odd............

There is no record of Council having received a Settlement Offer.

The Settlement Offer has now arrived at Council, on next week's agenda:

Its quite curious........

It proposes to settle only the eastern portion of the lands, (not the existing office tower footprint).......then continue to appeal/fight over the western portion of the site.

I don't have time to grab the details, there's nothing sexy there, but there is a new Site Plan and Elevation Drawings.

@Paclo

Change in height, and in park location proposed.

I think that it is great they are allowing the portion with no issues to move on! Smacks of pragmatism and intelligent problem solving. Gold stars all around! ⭐⭐⭐
