and that it blocks all views from several Units in the TCHC building to its south! One man's view is another man's blank wall!
BTW. If/when that TPA garage at 1 Church Street is redeveloped (which is under discussion, their 'great east view' may go!
I know people who paid a million dollars for condos only to have their views blocked before they even moved in....and by the same builder who sold them the condo with views

Anyone buying in a city like Toronto which is seeing huge expansion needs to look at 'views' very carefully. Good to have a park or a condo/coop in a 'non-blocking' location as it is unlikely that a park will be removed and its very hard to buy and demolish condos or coops. (Though certainly not impossible!)

Taken at noon and the rest at 5:30.

Those podium window really have a strong mirror reflection ! They pop out even more with black trim as you can see in the photos up above ! Let's hope those mirrored window's don't blind or fry anything across the street etc. Ha Ha !!

That will provide privacy for the residents...great idea...wish more builders did this

This is shaping up to being my favourite addition to the neighbourhood since Market Square (circa 1983, when I was two and a half)... luv everything about it - location/tasteful touch of height, massing and what looks to be great execution/materials so far. Don't need swoops, twists or shifts when a simple, elegant design looks like it has always belonged here.
