Toronto 7 St Thomas | 38.71m | 9s | St. Thomas | Hariri Pontarini

Looks good, but I'm distracted by how dirty 1 St. Thomas is in the background. Why wouldn't a luxury building clean its exterior?

I'm not sure why they would bother while a building is being built immediately north of them, and one across the street to the west: it would get instantly dirty again. Once those are done though, yes, The St. Thomas needs more than your average power wash.

Waked by today. Love this building, can't wait to see it in all its completed glory.

That first pic of @Marcanadian's above is making me think that the folds in Carl Taçon's Shift (the public art associated with One St. Thomas that runs along its driveway at the base of 7 St. Thomas) may have inspired the rounded design and blended tones of 7 St. Thomas.

The caliber is high on this one....

(really liking the 'pop' of these chimneys too)

I love the texture that the vertical lines add to the glass. It strikes me as a subtle nod to the texture of the brick buildings that make up most of the street level frontage.
