If so, that's terrible. Just terrible.

I know! I had assumed that retail would be coming back! I hate hearing about these things. Just last week I heard that some residents in a newly constructed condo on Queen East were objecting to a street patio in the new Aroma there because of noise concerns, and I was similary dumbstruck then. Noise concerns from a coffee shop patio?! Who are these people who are so averse to any activity at street level? It's even more unbelievable in this location, right in the core.
