St. Jamestown reintegration

Has there been any recent consideration given to reintroducing streets to St. Jamestown and some limited retail at grade? All of this development seems to be reintegrating at least the Sherbourne section of St. Jamestown with the rest of the city. I know that John Sewell worked on a plan in the early 1990s that recommended such a move but there was no action taken on it. Now with Regent Park and Don Vale? both having successfully gotten approval maybe it is time to take the logical next step.

One problem w/SJT is that it's largely a private development, with only a smidgen of public housing...

That's from Sherbourne Street not Jarvis.
This is moving along incredibly quick considering the first crane only went up 3 months ago!

Question to those who purchased here: Was the tax rate considered before purchase? or was it a non issue?

oops... You are right

I must have been half awake ....It's Sherbourne street indeed. Another pic

Although it's not a master piece I really like the Dome of Our Lady of Lourdes Church .... View from the future Wellesley Central Park
