So did this project change hands at some point? I remember when the old bank building was knocked down that sat there for years with the food truck on it, while all the building to south were still up? Did it take a long time to get this together?

I suspect it will be more like early May for the South Tower Crane with the North Tower Crane to follow later, being a Geothermal site it ads extra activity in conjunction with the foundations to tie in the Geothermal loops.

Well then, that's not too surprising, but it'll be an adjustment to see this part of the neighbourhood densified, especially with the taller tower nearing the height of the tallest Yonge Eglinton Centre tower (as it should be in this area, especially now).

EDIT:
Less car parking and more bike space is a definite plus.

I have reviewed the Cover Letter.

The essential case being made is that this represents 66 net new purpose-built, rental units; and that it falls within precedent.

I agree on both counts, and consider this supportable, but, I hold to the principle, more profit, more community benefit.

As such, I must flag @HousingNowTO because I know exactly what ask I have in mind here............. I want 10% or six of the net new units to be affordable or deeply affordable.

I think that's entirely fair.
