I find it amazing that this proposal is only for 31 & 25 storeys on such a large footprint when developments at Yonge & Woodlawn are proposed at over 50 storeys. I know there are many examples of this kind of dichotomy. Makes me wonder what kind of influence city planning has on shaping "logical" density/building height.
 


New Park at 2400 Yonge Street


A new 1,232 m2 park (about the size of five tennis courts) is coming to 2400 Yonge St. as a result of a mixed-use development project at Roselawn Avenue. The park design will be determined through community engagement.

  • Winter to Fall 2025: Detailed design
  • Winter 2026: Hire a construction team
  • Winter/Spring 2026: Construction starts
  • Summer 2027: Construction complete
