Subway Extension: Announced Plans?

Hi,

I'm new here. Surely has already been discussed in this forum, but have the authorities announced subway extensions (especially north of Finch on the Yonge line)? I heard about possible extension to Steeles, HGWY7 etc...is it true and, if yes, when it will be ready? 2020?

MoveOntario 2020 will extend both ends of the Yonge-University-Spadina Subway to Highway 7.
This has been discussed at length in the MoveOntario 2020 thread. Search through there and Google helps too.
