I know of someone that bought a house near Sheppard, hoping that there would be a subway nearby in the not too distant future. Little did they know the project was on the Bruno Caboclo timeline. Hopefully this will change.

So? They took the land from other peoples through conquest and genocide. The Mississauga peoples who we took the land from, took the land from the Iroquois peoples who took the land from the Huron-Wendat peoples.

We know this because it happened while Europeans were around to write about it so this land has been conquered and lost countless times in the 10000+ years since the ancestors of Amerindians first crossed into the Americas.

Ultimately you are trying to assign ownership of this land to the last people to have conquered the land before Europeans conquered it.

No meaningful efforts to plan for a wye made during the construction of Sheppard West (then Downsview) station.

You can see the track layout here. The area to the right of the northbound track is most likely for ventilation.

Today is another consultation. I didn't go to the first one, but I plan on going today, and advocating for a subway. I'd encourage others in this forum to do the same.
