Golden Horseshoe BBQ drew huge lineups over the weekend

BBQ Smokehouses often only cook a certain amount of food for the day and close when they run out rather than keeping regular hours like most restaurants, which means people line up to well regarded (or new) spots because you can't just go whenever. On top of Torontonians flocking to the newest line, line ups could be a regular thing here if they see success.

They'll figure out how to manage it. In a couple of months, they'll know how much meat they have to cook to meet the demand for each day.

I don't see myself lining up for it per se, but I do find the support for it encouraging to see. The retail strip there is reasonably and consistently tenanted, although not overly vibrant. Also happy to the corner building fully restored and back to life again after periods of crappy paint job and subsequent neglect afterwards.

It's good, but you should also check out the new west end location of Beach Hill Smokehouse. I haven't been to that one, but the east end one was really good.
