Oh no, my old Greek spot in Seaton Village :-(

Christie Pits and Harbord Village had a sizeable Greek community in the 70s and 80s, before moving to The Danforth and Scarborough.

Interesting, I was not aware of that. That would explain the presence of Vesta Lunch at Dupont & Bathurst.

This is at Christie and Yarmouth according to a reliable source. That is very good news as the stretch of Christie just south of Dupont is a great emerging strip.

I've had breakfast there many times. I wouldn't describe it as "great" but it's fine, and fun.

There's also St. Nektarios Greek Orthodox church further up at Dovercourt & Davenport. I've passed by this countless times but can finally link it together with the topic of discussion here

The renovation project at Dupont & Manning is substantially done. Here's the current approach they're talking to prevent tagging and appears to be working so far lol

Love that place - I had ice cream there this summer after discovering it purely by chance when driving through. I too wish our residential neighbourhood interiors had lots more of these cozy little independent businesses...sigh...

Tiny's is an absolute gem. Seaton Village/Christie Pits has an embarrassment of riches when it comes to in-neighbourhood retail between Tiny's, Contra, and Emily Rose.
