With all of Rob Ford's reported vices, it's a wonder gambling isn't among them, considering Woodbine's presence in his turf and the Fords' enthusiasm for casinos. (Then again, there's no way he'd pass unrecognized/untweeted in the Woodbine slots melee.)
 
I'm sure Rob does football betting with some of his (his term) "Gino Boys".

Right. Because the relative quantity of child abuse in lesbian couples vis a vis the same in heterosexual couples has SO much to do with the Scarborough subway.

As a rule, people who throw around asinine analogies like that, and who employ completely specious reasoning in order to compare things that have nothing to do with one another, have a hard time claiming to be on the side of the 'facts' in any given argument.

No, because bad evidence is bad evidence for all the same reasons. Stupid claims are stupid claims because they are not substantiated by facts and instead rest on poor quality studies carried out by people with political agendas. If you offer that kind of thing in support of your own claim, you are no better than people like ford and allies who argue for subways based on the nonsense they spew forth.

Agenda pushing bullshit is just that no matter who offers it up and no matter what agenda they push.

Unfortunately I'm thinking most people will want to get a picture taken with him, and it'll just solidify his resolve that he's doing a great job and everyone loves him.

I'm really disappointed to find out that the Sun show is pre-taped. That will more or less eliminate the possibility of gaffes/feet in mouth, and it'll almost ensure a polished performance from the guy, for the next 6-8 weeks. What are the chances he won't declare that he's running for office until much later on in the year, and use this show to really galvanize his base and image?

Now media is telling us that Mayor Rob Ford is unfit for job. What kind of country is that?!!! Country where these journalists feeding public cheap sensations and lies. I do not know, if Rob Ford used cocaine or not. Until he is convicted, he is innocent. Did we hear from the judges? Was court hearing this issue? Update me, cause I know nothing of!

Publicly blaming father of using escort service is unrecoverable damage! Where is the evidence? What should his kids and wife, his family members feel? How can his kids go to school without being mocked constantly?

In this system, where even top political figures like senators (Duffy, Brasso, Wallin) stealing money(again doing nothing, many of them do not even show up to attend sessions), no wonder this country morally degrading. Dalton Mcguinty was giving bonus of 300+ K upon his exit as provincial Premier. Can you tell me what good did he do in his job as top province politician?

Interesting contrast in the demand for "evidence". As to cheap sensation and lies - I suppose the admission before camera wouldn't count as "evidence".

I hate to say it but there is definitely a direct correlation between the ability to compose proper English sentences and support for Rob Ford. Addressing any of these "arguments" seems pointless but a person is not innocent until they are convicted; they are presumed innocent, in a legal sense, until given a trial. If I see you kill someone, I don't need a court to tell me you're guilty of killing them. Reality doesn't enter a state of limbo until courts rule on what occurred.

I don't even know what "Publicly blaming father of using escort service is unrecoverable damage!" even means but, yeah, sure. I don't want to disparage immigrants or other people who most assuredly have a right to participate in our democracy but this is about the level of pro-Ford arguments these days.

As for Ford TV....I would occasionally listen to the radio show, mostly in fury. I think people who are sincerely fed up should just boycott it and not treat it like the harmful freak show it truly is. I also wouldn't worry about Ford being too polished or avoiding gaffes. There is little sense that he's any better when he's actually prepared and I'm sure he'll just be reading from whatever script his mommy gave him this time, saying how very very very really really sorry he is and subways subways subways and fighting fighting fighting for the taxpayers.

Unless he does an honestly sincere, 30 minute mea culpa that answers, in total honesty, everything we have been asking for months, it is of no value or novelty as far as I'm concerned. SunNews may want to join the ranks of the enablers, I'm not going to play along.

Why not, it gives him the attention he craves, and they get an EBay opportunity, or very least, a cautionary tale for any progeny. Not dissimilar from any "celebrity" situation.

For a few weeks for RoFo, them I assume DoFo takes over as host of the new circle jerk. CRTC mandates that during election time no candidates can serve as host or co-host of a "talk show".
